What's new? I'm currently working on a fully functioning website. I'm super excited about it. It might take some time to get it up and running but It will be a truly unique shop full of vintage road bikes, original bicycle photography, handmade bike bags, custom stands, vintage accessories & parts, all quality, unique products designed by me and some collaborations with select local artists. It will be great to get all of my design ideas and passion for bicycles out on one spot for the world to see. I also just opened up a shop on ETSY, you can check out some of my products there at bicibella.etsy.com. The Reinventing The Wheel Art Show was a big success. There was a huge turnout. Kudos to the Sanctuary143 crew for putting it together and all who came down. So for now, check out the photos from the show and my latest bike build. Fausto Coppi Track Frame Photo Series.

Here is a photo series of my latest find, a 1988 Fausto Coppi Track frame. I acquired it from local frame builder Richie Ditta. He was the original and only owner! Beautiful super light frame, chromed lugs and Campagnolo dropouts. I still have not built it up, still looking for the right parts. Photo cards are 4x6, printed on semi glossy card stock. There are 5 photos in the series pictured below. They would make a great gift for the track bike fiend in your life or keep em' for yourself. 15$ for set of 5. Click here to buy. Gracie!

The inventor of the quick release and the modern day derraileur, Tullio Campagnolo was born on this day in 1901. Innovator and relentless entrepreneur, Tullio created a legacy with his components, always pushing the boundaries of innovation and design.

The great Eddy Merckx, who used Campagnolo's components throughout his career gave this touching eulogy at his funeral.

''Dear Commendatore Campagnolo:

On behalf of the cyclists all over the world, of those known or unknown, I address to you from this square of this church a touched good-bye. You deserve to belong to our life's memories because, rider like us, you have known our fatigue, and you have helped us.

You have done it with that generous intelligence that was the fruit of your goodness as man and as entrepreneur.

You have been the most faithful and precious of our helpers. You arrived first for seven times, with me, to the goal of the Milano-Sanremo; you were with me under the snow the day I was climbing victorious, the road of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. I shared with you every success.

In telling you good-bye in the name of all the presents and of those who regret not being here, I wish to repeat an act of faith heard in this church.

You will remain with us, riders of all ages and of all classes, as a dear and unforgettable road fellow. A good friend.

I tell it to you in a bad italian, maybe, but with an italian heart because, thanks to you, there is a piece of italy with your name on all the bicycles of the world.

I switched out some parts on my "Ciotti". I finally found a silca pump to fit my frame, new Cinelli stem, Concor saddle, I went for a little ride today and a photo shoot. Enjoy!

Ana's "Baby Bluey" Bianchi

I built up this Bianchi for Ana a couple years ago. It's a Terry Bicycle, so the frame is specially made to accommodate women and smaller riders. It takes a 24 in. tire in front and a regular sized road tire in the back. It belonged to my brother who used to do road racing when he was 10. It was in storage for years, until I had the idea to build it up for Ana. I had a hunch that it might fit her and it did. Perfectly!
